I am trying out some bigger packs so I can haul my camera gear easier.  This is the first of them

If you are looking for a high quality, rugged backpack for long, unsupported expedition-style trips this pack is a top contender.  It is comfortable and makes trekking with heavy loads efficient and comfortable and it has enough features to make it easy to use, but not so much that it overcomplicates things. However, Osprey does not advertise this pack as a lightweight option, nor a pack for shorter trips or general camping or hiking use, so take that into consideration when looking at this pack.
